Steve, over at logmyloss is hosting a Hot 100 challenge...I didn’t sign up in time to join it officially, so I’m going to do it for fun (and because I think it will help me stay motivated through the holidays). You can read more about it here, but the basic rules are:

  1. You have to come up with some goals.
  2. You have to publish those goals.
  3. You have to give a status follow-up on those goals at least every ten days.

I can do that. :-D

I’ve given it some thought and my Hot 100 goals are:

  • No carbonated beverages. period.
  • Minimum of 3 hours of gym per week.
  • Cook dinner at least once per week.

I plan to post my updates every Wednesday, starting with next Wednesday (10/14). In the past we either ate out or my husband cooked partly because I don’t like to cook, but mostly because I was too lazy/tired. (pathetic, huh?)  So, that’s why I made cooking one of my Hot 100 goals…I’d like to cook at least one meal a week…something healthy… maybe try some new recipes.

In other news, I ate way more for lunch today than I should have, but still kept within my calories, believe it or not. I brought leftovers from last night (breaded pork cutlets and rice). I’ve gotta be careful doing that, because it’s SO filling. After going to the gym this morning I was completely energized and ready to go, but after eating all that rice at lunch I was just sluggish. I’m going to the gym again this evening, my sister has offered to go with me…she’s gonna be my Jillian. I don’t know whether to be happy or scared….hehe.

Well, that’s it for now, I’ll be back later to post my weekly weigh-in results (dear scale, please be good to me!) and updated pictures.
