I hate Mondays.
Let me say it again.
I HATE MONDAYS.
I’m usually dragging my butt out of bed, worn out, tired, and SO not ready for the day…let alone the week.
So you can imagine what was going through my head when my alarm went off at 5 am this morning (I set it early so I could go to the gym before work). I soooo did not want to get out of bed. I wanted to just roll over and go back to sleep. I laid there for about 5 minutes before something in me just “clicked” and I found myself laying in bed thinking about my post the other day….and Steve’s post….and reminded myself that this is all about choices and I needed to just CHOOSE to get out of bed and go. And I did.
I only worked out for about 35 minutes (treadmill and bike) but MAN I feel great and ready to go. I’m actually going to be early to work this morning, which is a first for me….especially on a Monday.

I really appreciate you sharing this. I also had a tough time getting out of bed this morning, but I knew if I didn’t, I would regret it later. Like you, my workout was a little less than I wanted, but you know what? I did it, just like you did. We can both go through the day with our heads held high.
