Well, I’d definitely ascribe it to some technical fault interpreted by the attendant as a can’t-lock-you-in-fault – because honestly Josie, just look at that new About Me photo of yours up there – you are SO not too big for a ride.

Nah, simply see it as your guardian angel protecting you from whatever mishap might have occurred. This ain’t personal, girl.

Josie, so sorry you had to go thru this BUT think about how close you were to actually being in that seat right vs. before this & you will be locked in & enjoying the whole ride next time. Show them that they can’t hurt or deter you! You are better than that! Go Josie!

That definitely stinks. I know how you feel; last time I was at Six Flags, I came perilously close to not fitting into one of the standing roller coaster harnesses. It ended up locking, with the help of the guy next to me who pushed while I pulled, but it was an experience, to say the least. I can’t even imagine what it must be like to ride a roller coaster with no worries about fitting.

Sorry that happened but you did get to ride it! Maybe you can set a goal that when you have lost all of it that you and the fam go to Disney World or something.

Oh wow…this sucks! I think that maybe this ride was a tease for what’s to come? You know, Six Flags, Disney, the whole schebang…next time they won’t stop the ride, and when it does come to an end, you won’t want to get off!

I’m sorry that happened to you, Josie. I’m not sure what I would have done. At least you experienced some of the ride (with an unknown level of safety), and you will soon be able to experience the entire ride without any concern.

Personally, I am not a fan of the scary rides. I really liked the ride at Epcot where I was gently reclined in a super-size airplane seat and cool air was blown in my face.

On, man, Josie. I’m glad you got a taste, but I’m actually a little pissed that they put you in that position. I kno whwen I went to Disneyland a couple of years ago, and I couldn’t fit in some of the rides…not fun. You’ll SO get there soon!

Oh no, Josie…I’m sorry to hear this happened. I have been in your shoes where I couldn’t get on the ride…only there was no “almost” locking–the seat wouldn’t even go over my arms or anything! The first time I fit it was like a gift from heaven!
Just think next year (time?) they come you’ll be in the seat and have so much room you can wear a fanny pack too
