Week 24 – Weigh-In

by Josie on March 15, 2010 · 17 comments

If you missed my workout pledge, you can participate by clicking here. You can help determine my workout on Wednesday! So far, if I’ve tallied correctly, my routine is as follows:

100 squats
3 minutes stairmaster
40 crunches
4.5 minutes running (4.5 mph)
1 minute walking (3.5 mph)
1 minute elliptical
20 reps on weight machines
3 minutes on the exercise bike
1 Circuit of all of the above (for Jody!)

Don’t you want to add to that? :-P There were also 7 comments where the exercise wasn’t specified, so I’ll choose those on Wednesday. You have until tomorrow at 10:00 PM.

Now, onto today’s weigh-in:

I weighed in this morning at 211.8 lbs which is a .8 lb loss for the week. This brings my total weight loss so far to 44.2 pounds.

Still trending downward, which is a victory in my book. :-D

I also wanted to mention that a good friend of mine, Kat, received an incredible honor and was named one of the 7 Best Dieting and Wellness Blogs! This was much deserved, Kat, and I’m happy for you! Congrats.

102.75 miles walked/jogged/ran since January 1st. (2010 Goal: 500)
14.9 miles biked since January 1st. (2010 Goal: 300)
(3) 5K finished since January 1st. (2010 Goal: 12)

Nice work this week Josie. As you say, as long as you keep that downward trend, you’ve got nothing to worry about :)

It’s certainly a victory! Yay to downward progress! Haha, this is the only kind of progress that one would actually be happy about!

Way to go, Josie! :-D

We’re going down, down (down, down)
Down, down (down, down)
We’re going down, down (down, down)

(I know the song doesn’t pertain to weight loss, but it just popped into my head! Maybe JackSh*t could redo it? :-) ) Something like…

Scale’s going down, down (down, down) etc. etc. etc… :-P

Congrats Josie!!! You are doing awesome & man, the workout results, you are going to be busy!

On that circuit, it will be a great workout on those days you are crunched for time.. keep doing it for 20 minutes with a 5 minute warm up & 5 minute cool down or however much time you have! :-)

Good luck!

Congrats on the loss and after Wednesdays workout you’ll be so skinny. I am sure of that. If I may add to your exercise I think some extra time on the elliptical is in order. it’s my favorite piece of equipment :-) Good luck and I look forward to seeing how well you do. it’s such an awesome idea. Keep up the good work. I am indeed greatly impressed.
